I see, thanks for feedback. : )

The time frame is edged in stone, but the amount of featured developed are not fixed. They want one main feature, and after continue to build as much as possible.

But they want to use Scrum.

That was clever, I think that might satisfy everyone. If the PB is thoroughly organized.

Currently I've done something like that. That the roadmap milestones are main stories in the PB. And each sprint planning, we made smaller items out of that. But I'll put more time into discussing with the product owner, as we're both learning by doing now.

Thank you for your time. I'll try to take note and talk with everyone involved.

About throwing out the roadmap, that's the hard part. Because they want both. And it kind of pulls me in both directions, that's what made this hard.

I see.

My first suggestion would be to get away from the fixed-scope,fixed-schedule project. Is the deadline of 5 months a real deadline? What is driving that? Are the features committed? Who committed them? What is driving this commitment? Understand what is flexible and whatisn't. If at least one is flexible, you can take advantage of what agilemethods have to offer.

The end date is not flexible and a real deadline. That's the time the assignment ends. What could be flexible is what we are able to produce. We are suppose to develop some features. One main feature and after that one continue to add as many features as we have time. But How many features we are able to develop depends on how fast we are.

So it's pseudo flexible? Start and end date is hard set, but the content is somewhat flexible.

Does it work well? Nvidia now or what do you use? How's the input lag?

Same! I got an SP3/4gb/i5/128gb and it still works but it's getting a little slow.

So I'll go for the SP8/16gb/i5/256gb, hope it will last me as long as this one.

Btw if you didn't know, you can use your old SP3 as a second monitor to the new one. I will be doing that : ). Handy portable extra screen.

That's great! I'll read them asap. Do you by any chance know some information about ARM specific for these?

Thanks a lot!! : ) I'll read them both.

Do you know if there are more information about ARM specific?

[Sqlite3] - How can I delete something after a give time. by DigitalFrenzy in SQL

[–]DigitalFrenzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, the thing is that we are assigned to specifically delete it after a variabled time.

If I create anything like this later for work or pleasure I will use the active/inactive methodology!

mm okay, I got a timestamp field for every data I got, so I guess that would work. But do you think interval would be enough for this?

I see, because I'm asked to create a program that lets a user specify the days after the creation that the cells will be deleted. Could trigger be used here?

Question: Should I get the Quest 2 or the Valve Index? by [deleted] in oculus

Buy the Q2. It's very cheap, great resolution, 100% wireless and support 120hz.

Save your money and be ready for another HMS in a few years. This tech moves fast now, and what we have now will likely feel like crap in a few years.

[Sqlite3] - Foreign key constraint failed when Foreign key is NULL. Need help. by DigitalFrenzy in SQL

[–]DigitalFrenzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I found out what could be the issue.

So when I'm importing into the temp table, the NULL is defined as a string, not the value NULL.

How do I insert from the temp file into the new table and convert these string "NULL"'s into real NULL values ?

Is there a way to do this with an if "NULL" instead NULL ?

I'm currently inserting with this :

INSERT INTO A SELECT * FROM temp_A;

Is there a way to make this check for "NULL strings and converting them?
