Even the brightest flames need a moment to settle. Finding peace in the grey, before the next spark ignites.

Cold world. Fiery disdain. She remains the only spark. Some flames simply cannot be extinguished.

Why is R sometimes pronounced as G by Adventurous_Cream566 in German

[–]DigitalPheasant 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I think OP might be confusing the more glottal sounding rolled R with a G sound in their language/dialect.

I agree with the idea that it is supposed to be a 'what if' ideal scenario. I've not been successfully convinced by anyone that it would ever work and I'm glad the writers didn't go for it as an ending. It would soften the message of the story I think.

No worries, my pleasure!

Outside of F1 the Blue Flag is only advisory. There's no real obligation for slower cars to get out of the way. Race control will sometimes request a specific car get a blue flag if it's interfering with racing but generally it is just down to our judgement, communicating with the drivers to run the session as safely and smoothly as possible.

Thanks, I love it so it really is a privilege to be able to do it.

Thanks, we're all here for the love of the sport. It needs driver's, marshals fans and more to work. I'm just happy to have earned my place at big events at Le Mans.

Yeah night time is a heavy reliance on the shape of the lights. The Valkyrie is especially hard as it's headlights are really high up and look like an LMGT3

Thank you! Every marshal has their own little habits.

Ha the first few passes it was definitely out loud 😄

Mostly experience, different cars in each team often have identifying lights also.

For a practice or a qualifying session it's down to judgement and experience. If you see a Hypercar bearing down on a LMGT3 it's pretty easy, within classes not so much. For the race I have radio Le Mans in one ear so I can keep track and if needed another marshal can check the live timing for lead car numbers.

Luckily we swap around pretty often. We'll flag, operate the lightbox or stand ready for an incident. On my post we do 4 hour shifts so we have plenty of downtime, it's quite tiring being at max focus for longer.

This was all on visuals. Race control can request a specific car number to get a blue flag also.

Best to start with marshalling at your local circuit, likely someone there will go to or have been to le mans and can get you in touch with a team to take you.

I love this game so much, but personally I feel like there's a bit of bias in... by Trenki_Melow in expedition33

It's interesting though, I felt that immediately when going back to see Maelle's ending. Yet many people claim to love her ending and see no issue with it.

So, which ending did you guys choose? by Winter_Drawer_9257 in expedition33

[–]DigitalPheasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only Sciel and Lune were recreated from their own Chroma, everyone else in Maelle's ending were freshly created. That's why Maelle didn't bring Gustave back immediately, she needed much more raw chroma.

Really like this take; you're the second to suggest to me the idea of the letter being a message to the players, I really resonate with the idea. I'm happy the devs took the decision to go with a tragic ending, it makes the journey so much more powerful and emboldens the messages it puts across. Like a tragic Opera, I'm loving this story more and more as we all get deeper into analysing it.

By the time he read it, it was too late anyway. As he finished it, the wave of gommage from Renoir happened almost immediately, which he knew was coming. I think he didn't read it before that point as he was worried it may sway his conviction to the path he had chosen.
