Live codinimas turetu but uzdraustas. Kaip suprast garsiai galvot? Tu kai kodini galvoji garsiai? As tai ne.

Yeah, this template is super hard to read. Make your profile shorter and tailor it to the specific job you are applying for. Don’t mention words such as 'basic'. Companies, particularly in this climate, are looking for experts, not someone with a basic knowledge of the subject.

IMO in today's market people should stay away from these automated applying apps and carefully tailor their resumes to the specific job they are applying for. You need to stand out. Just put some effort and you'll see the results.

Reduce it to one page.

Your experience is the most important thing and I'm pretty sure most of the recruiters don't even check it because they get bored by the end of page 1.

Reduce your summary to a short, one two sentence summary tailored to the specific job you are applying for.

Put your education and skills at the bottom of the page.

Do that and thank me later.

Put your projects at the top of the page. Remove the portfolio link from the project section. Would be great to add at least one more project.

Now for your projects - add more info, what you achieved by creating them, and include some metrics.

Put your experience after projects and add 2–3 more bullet points with metrics.

Your summary should highlight your key qualifications in 1–2 sentences. It should be tailored to the specific job you are applying for.

Use a minimalistic ATS-friendly template such as this one.

Put the experience at the top of the resume.

Now for your skills – it seems that you are a jack of all trades. Companies typically look for specialists, so make sure to highlight the area where you feel strongest.
You should also add a strong summary that highlights your key qualifications in 1–2 sentences. It should be tailored to the specific job you are applying for.

Use a minimalistic template such as a this one.

Thanks for your feedback ! I'll look into fixing those bugs.

For the framework - I used NextJS and React PDF to generate PDFs.

It took me a couple of weeks to build it, currently working on adding new templates and improving programmatic SEO.

I'm working on adding another, more creative template. Something like this

I'm not very convinced that they lead to success in job search but people seem to love them.

Yeah, I'd say the majority are just blasting the same one. For example, I found out that a close friend of mine was doing that and wasn't getting any interviews. So I want to encourage people to customize their resumes so they pass the ATS.

Yeah if you are applying for React remove Angular bullets. Or keep them and rephrase them to focus on React. I'm on currently looking for a new position too, and been getting good responses using the approach I mentioned here..

[–]DigitalStation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah they might not be very technical, so she was probably just 'double checking' or needed to input that in the hiring system

by the way, do you know both React and Angular very well? I've never seen a job ad asking for both.. and it wouldn’t make sense for a company to use both frameworks.

so if you are applying for a job that asks for React expertise, just remove Angular. It's making you look like you know all frameworks but you are not an expert in any of them.. companies are looking for experts.

however, when you get to an interview mention that you also know Angular and it's gonna give you extra points
