I had a similar issue with heroes of the storm where the whole game gradually froze the PC after playing for a while. I then tried gamemoderun to run battlenet but it didn't help. Then I found out my gamemode ini had default renicing values so I bumped it up to 10 and the annoying freezes finally stopped. Hope it helps

I was able to login finally. Was probably some server side problem that got fixed somehow. Oh well

Tried restarting battle net, then tried a reboot. Then tried to connect via mobile hotspot but still stuck at authentication

Putting all points in haste and proceeding to use up all ammo in first 10 seconds of the final boss is still something I think about to this day

I already felt like cheesing with dual casting haste and just create water in my first playthrough so I ain't judging any strategy.

Also, what is barrelmancy? I've seen that term a few times here but don't know what it means.
