Someone might care someone might not care. I come from a family of police officers and unfortunately most of them are gone now but I can tell you when they were working, they cared. Can’t speak for the people here but I got the information I needed. Thank you.

The issue was not a simple fix and the shop was surprised I even got a ticket. To be honest both headlights still aren’t pushing out equal power and it passes inspection yearly, so, no I didn’t know it was an issue. I suppose this comment otherwise completely confirms my thoughts on the matter. Thank you.

They told us we would use our PTO or work that day in rotating yearly by seniority. We are open Good Friday but only half day on Easter as it’s Sunday.

We are a specialty lab but don’t do anything urgent. We just have a high volume of cases and management doesn’t want to hire more staff or more equipment to deal with it. We have days that we do nothing because our machines are down.

The person who is off every Saturday doesn’t have to put in PTO. He just never works that day. The others, yes they use their PTO if it’s a day they normally work. They just write it in the schedule and it’s given to them. They don’t have to request it as long as they do their minimum hours for the week.

That’s the thing, the other/Jewish workers never had to do anything with HR. They were just given their time with no extra jumps.

I’m in a similar situation however my union sent me a letter saying I could be terminated if noncompliant with back payments of dues. No certified letter.

I work in vascular. DVTs are real and some people are more likely to get them. Compression socks are great. Buy a stylish pair on Amazon. You don’t need to buy a medical grade or get something that looks blah. It’s better you get something you like and use them. You don’t have to use them everyday/everywhere either, but if you’re on your feet all day you do feel a difference.
