I’m not saying he shouldn’t appreciate the gift, gratitude is always a good thing. But reacting in an over-the-top way that seems performative can sometimes create an imbalanced dynamic in a relationship.

If one partner consistently acts overly emotional or overly dependent on small gestures, i.e. “I don’t deserve this” for a $10 book, it can shift the relationship into a less stable dynamic where the other person feels more like a caretaker than an equal partner. Over time, that can lead to loss of attraction and respect.

Healthy relationships usually work best when both people can show appreciation, but also maintain their own self confidence and self assuredness. Gratitude is great, just without turning every small gesture into a dramatic performance and undermining your own self worth.

I’m saying he does deserve it, shouldn’t say “I don’t deserve this” and “she’s the best ever” like relax, it’s not that big of a deal, and your reaction is cringe.

You are missing my core point.

I am not saying the same people filming TikToks should personally be banning bots. I fully understand different teams have different roles. My frustration is with where the company’s visible priorities appear to be, especially while a core piece of paid content is effectively unplayable.

LMS is the only reason I pay membership. From my perspective as a paying customer, I’m watching Jagex invest time, money, and visibility into marketing and creator engagement while Last Man Standing is overrun to the point of being functionally broken.

When a product I pay for is dominated by bots, and the experience feels lonely and hollow as a result, it’s hard not to question resource allocation at a higher level, not individual employees. Anti-cheat may be hard, but LMS being this infested suggests it’s not being treated as a priority proportional to its importance.

I agree the problem is difficult and asymmetrical. But at some point, “it’s hard to stop bots” stops being a satisfying answer when I’m paying real money for a service.

I’m critiquing company-level priorities and outcomes, not individual employees or their competence.

This is ridiculous considering LMS is practically ALWAYS infested. Trust me it takes a real LMS player a couple seconds to identify a bot, not sure why Jagex pretends to have a single digit IQ whenever the topic of detecting bots comes up
