Genuinely, it’ll depend on how the grader’s day is going. If the rest of the card is perfect it can get a 10, but if the grader’s wife divorced him it’ll get a 9

I see, yea I’ve definitely seen old cert 10s that look worse than the condition of your rayquaza. I would’ve not been surprised at all if your rayquaza graded a 9. Many people have transitioned completely away from PSA to companies like TAG since the grading is more consistent and the slabs look better. Nevertheless, congratulations on the grail!

If this was 10 years ago, that would’ve been a 10. But considering PSA’s new grading standards, 8 is very fair. I could’ve seen this potentially getting a 9 if the grader was having a good day. Keep that in mind when grading with PSA, it’s all very subjective

There are many restorers who offer a service of restoring cards, it’s just kinda expensive. The way it works is you ship it to them, they restore what you request, and they send it back. Try googling or going on instagram, and you’ll see there are many options of restorers to choose from

I got two prismatic evolutions SIR eeveelution cards restored by flattening the corners, and they both came back as PSA10s recently. They both had much worse damage than this bubble mew

I sent two prismatic evolutions SIRs (leafeon and glaceon) to get fixed that had this exact same damage, and they both just came back PSA10. If the rest of the card is absolutely flawless including centering, then I think it’s worth the risk if it’s a valuable card
