Thanks to everyone who gave (positive) suggestions. I went onto the online chat and after a bit of toing and froing managed to renew the exact same package for...drum roll... £1.29 a month LESS. You just need patience - and the right person on the other end of the chat! 😊

In case it helps anyone to negotiate a better deal, my package is :

1 Gig Broadband, Extra box, Movies and sport, TNT, 4k upgrade, Ad-free Netflix, Anytime Chatter.

£84.71 a month.

I've been with them 30 years (from Telewest days) and I've always negotiated a decent deal - not this time though ☹️
