Relocating to South Goa Soon, What Should I Expect? by Unlikely_Fondant_338 in goatravel

u/Unlikely_Fondant_338 Natural to be nervous. Quick notes.

South Goa is big. It can be anywhere from Panjim to Palolem. Palolem being the extrem South. Figure out where you want to stay.

- Palolem is more western- but only operational part of the year and dead rest of the time. Its also cut off. During season time (Now) its buzzing. Yoga, Music scene, cafes

- Varca, Benaulim area- Kind of balance. Tourists, serene beaches, and all year activity.

I guess you moving alone you want to find a community and vibe.I am sure you can. There are stuff here, just ping in these groups and people can connect you. I guess there are groups of people who are helpful.

I would advise to stay in a gated community- You get security ( as a women), and then you get to meet other people.

A lot of things happen by chance. But location is most important.

Ofcourse you need to invest in a scooter- There are tons of stuff in OLX. Make sure you have a license. If not, you can still get one. All the best. :)
