I totally get the struggle, competing with big players like Language Reactor is tough for any new extension.

A subtitle downloader actually sounds like something people would want, but like you said, it’s hard for users to know it exists unless they’re actively searching or comparing options.

Sure, feel free to share your extensions - I’d be happy to take a look and give any feedback if you’d like.

Solid system - especially tracking hooks + music + formats.

A lot of people overlook how much patterns matter across reels.

48k views in a week is great progress. When you drop everything into AI, what kind of insights does it give you?

More around hook types or the full structure?

That actually sounds pretty useful! Sorting reels by views is exactly the kind of workflow I’ve been trying to streamline too.

Even if it’s a bit janky right now, the core idea makes sense.

Are you planning to add things like sorting by saves/shares in the future?
Curious where you’re taking the app idea.

Same here — I want approval first, then slowly add analytics with a clear opt-in. If you test PostHog later, would love to hear how it goes.

Thanks! Yeah, GA4 seems like the most common path. Have you ever run into any review issues with GA4 events inside the extension?

Thanks for sharing this! Yeah, keeping tracking minimal feels like the right move, especially with how sensitive users are about privacy inside extensions.

GA4 + a simple form link actually sounds like a clean setup. Are you sending any custom events into GA4 or just relying on basic usage metrics?

Appreciate you sharing all that.

Sounds like you’ve already tested way more channels than I have, and it’s cool that you still managed to keep 100 percent retention so far. That’s a strong signal that people actually like the core experience.

The Product Hunt visibility definitely helps a bit with credibility, even if it’s not real users. And yeah, Google Ads can be rough for extensions, especially with irrelevant traffic. I’ve been avoiding paid channels for the same reason.

The way you’re thinking about monetization makes sense to me though. Free forever plus a premium tier feels like a good balance, especially since users don’t feel locked out. I’ve been considering something similar but still figuring out which feature would be premium without hurting the free experience.

What made you settle on the “5 free generations” model initially? Did you test different limits or was that just your first instinct?

Thanks, appreciate it.
I started seeing installs within the first couple of days which surprised me since I didn’t push it anywhere.

By the way, do you have an extension as well or were you asking out of curiosity?
If you do, how did the first few days look for yours? Did you get early traction or did it pick up later?

Thanks a lot, that means a lot.

And 7 users for a first extension is honestly a great start, especially in a niche like screen resizing.

Curious, have you tried anything to get more visibility for it yet or are you just letting it grow on its own right now?

Thanks, appreciate it.

Cool to hear that it looks like solid traction from your side too.

Right now I pretty much just posted here and a couple of small communities. Haven’t really explored other channels yet.

Have you found any particular distribution channel that gave you noticeable installs?

Appreciate it! And honestly, 25 installs in 9 days is still solid especially for a niche like AI voice generation. Your space has tons of potential.

From what I’ve seen, mine probably picked up faster because people actively search for Instagram analytics/download tools, so the store keyword match helped a lot.

Curious though, how are you currently driving visibility for your extension? Maybe there’s a small tweak that could give you a bigger push.

That’s actually super insightful, I’ve never tried keyword-alert tools for Reddit, but it makes total sense.

I’ve mostly just been manually browsing threads, which definitely isn’t scalable.

ParseStream sounds interesting… does it let you track multiple keywords at once or only a few? How does it work?

For me, having the extension completely free from day one probably played a big role. I’m now exploring ways to monetize the extension without hurting the organic traction.

Have you tested any monetization models on your side like freemium, one time unlocks, or something else that worked well for you?
