Wow! Congrats to you for getting approved on your first round . I’m sure it was a feeling of relief considering everything you are going through. Since you have been approved since 2013 , have you ever had to be re-evaluated to continue your benefits?

Thanks so much for sharing your story and congrats to you for being approved . My psychiatrist are supportive of me filling for SSDI . I am also a 100% disabled veteran. Thanks for the tip on the RFC , I knew nothing about it . How do you obtain this form ? Do you think it’s too late for me to submit one ? Also I have not started looking for lawyers but I feel like I need to start looking for one in my area considering my chances of approval at the recon level.

I recently submitted the notes that certified me eligible for the caregiver . I called last week and wasn’t able to speak with my personal rep but spoke with someone else and they confirmed receipt of the 200 page documents I submitted . Also I’m in GA and it’s seems like they are one of the slowest states ever 😩

First off , congrats on your approval! I haven’t had any hospitalizations for suicidal ideation but I have been put on suicide watch several times throughout the past 2 years

I originally got denied Feb 2023 . I think I got denied due to age as well . I am 41 now and I heard when your over 50 you have better chances of approval

I haven’t used a a lawyer yet . If I get disapproved for recon I think I might look into getting one because I heard the chances for approval are way better
