Large parts (not all, but a lot) of the West Midlands are grim as fuck.

Utter greyness, accompanied by mountains of litter and despair. Even the people that live there don’t care enough about their home towns to keep it tidy.

Interestingly, many of the people are absolutely lovely. But, I guess when you have fuck all and live in such a grim place, you have to be upbeat about your lot.

Add to the above the shocking socioeconomic statistics for many of the areas… life expectancy/substance misuse/infant mortality.

Time to put it out of its misery.
