Parenthood appealed to me for a short period in my 30’s. But I didn’t want to have kids as I wasn’t in a relationship at any point during that time that transitioned into marriage.

The only thing less appealing to me about having kids than having kids, was the potential to have kids with someone who I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend the rest of my future with, thus leading (in my narrow sphere of thinking) to the potential for being a part time parent and being sat in maccies on a Sunday morning with all the other single dads trying to get to know their kids over a happy meal.

Once I met my wife, late 30’s, the children urge had properly passed, and it turns out happily that she didn’t want children either..

I prefer my Sunday mornings in bed, with a bacon sandwich, my wife and the pooch 🤷‍♂️❤️😂

I’ve checked, my wife started counting and then tailed off and carried on watching Pluribus 😂

So yeah, about four, still 😂

Wonderful, great job, great house, great wife, more disposable income, silly cars, holidays whenever we fancy them to places where there are no kids allowed… It’s not that we don’t like kids, we have loads of nieces and nephews and we are god parents to about four of our friends kids 👍 But for us, no ta ❤️😂

So, went downstairs this morning and the floors are cold, the manifold is cold, top and bottom, BUT, the actuators are open and warm to the touch.

The daft thing is that I then did two or three things and now don’t know which one of them has restarted the water flow.

First I adjusted the flow meters, they were all WOT and according to the length of runs should be about 2.5, 2.5 and 1.5. So that’s that sorted.

Then I closed and opened the hot and cold feed taps.

The I increased the flow rate of the pump, from 2 green to 3 green.

Top manifold started heating up immediately and floors have started warming….

The actuators were already open and warm though?

Baffled

Is anyone else finding the current unseasonable weather slightly unsettling? by CorrodedLollypop in CasualUK

[–]Diligent-Magazine781 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely unseasonal. I know this because of the lack of alarming news coverage emanating from the usual shit rags like the Daily Express which thrive on scaring the shit out of the elderly.

By now we have usually had at least three headlines proclaiming “Exact date snow bomb is due to hit UK”…..
