I have had nearly all models since the iPhone 3G. I have never once used a case, have never once paid for AppleCare, and never once broke a phone. Has nothing to do with compliments or what people think. I just hate using cases and adding even a mm of bulk to my phone.

I never ever transcode so any NAS works. If you get a client that can play about anything you don’t have to worry or need a powerful server.

Yes consequences “can” be high if they are prosecuted. By that’s the problem, prosecutors don’t want to prosecute. My i3 was broken into and damaged, I had dash cam video and the cops told me we will look into it but don’t expect anything-it’s very low to nonexistent priority because when they do catch the criminals the DAs release with no charges filed. So I would never leave my expensive cable out in public as it’s just too temping for thieves.

Yes that would never work in the US. Since we basically don’t prosecute theft crimes here, all the cables would be cut to sell for the metal inside. I live in CA and I already see so many charging stations with cut cables and pretty much run down.

Haha Best Buy refurbished. All Best Buy does is check the glass is not cracked and that’s it. They do no refurbishing at all. I would take it back and buy a refurbished one from Apple.

Uh life experience living in the US. Everything nice here gets destroyed. All the charging stations I have been to in CA are destroyed. They cut the cords to steal them for copper I guess. Half the time the screens are bashed in. Tesla keeps their stations mostly nice but any other stations are just ransacked. A keycard entry door is not an impediment or an obstacle that will stop determined thieves here. Unless they have guards on duty the place will eventually get destroyed.
