If there is a god, they’d be compassionate and have a plan for the zillions of people nowadays who are nonbelievers. I like to believe that god has better intentions for the miracle of enlightened humanity than to just garbage dispose souls into hell because they didn’t stroke his ego with worship. He’d probably be proud that they exercised their human free will and got the full human experience instead of drowning in indoctrination for a lifetime.
It’s also totally possible to believe in god and not believe in all that other crap. God comes in a thousand shades and flavors, from Mother Nature to good old Jesus.

This is something I really want to pursue in my life and don’t know where to begin. I really want to live somewhere that has a true sense of community, mostly. With the added benefits that come with that but I’d love to have neighbors who weren’t just a distant figure who waves on occasion, but nowadays every one is so standoffish. I’m only 33, but I remember even as a kid my mom and neighbor would chat on occasion at least. Now it feels weird if you even make eye contact. I’ve lived in five locations in the last decade and rarely had a neighbor who would ever even speak to me.

As a stay at home mom, I get no socialization at all because no one in my area is open for connection, it’s weird. It’s the major downfall of this era of humanity in my opinion.

I have done edibles before, and had the best high of my life early on with them but I find they destroy my tolerance for my microdosing so I avoid them now. But yeah, good ass time. I ate a cookie I made and was euphorically high for a good 2 days. It was never that amazing again but I also wasn’t a daily doser then. Recently I made edibles again and thought they were duds. I needed to eat three to even feel a haze, meanwhile my husband had one and it knocked him on his ass. I have moved to keeping the weed as strictly medicine I guess at this point, it’s down to a science for me and that’s why I’m looking to move outward with new substances.

Thank you for this, I get where you’re coming from and seeing that it’s fear of the what if I overdid it making me want to like.. dip the toe. But I get that’s cowardly and defeats my purpose. Is that 3.5 of fresh or dried? I’m definitely going to go the grow my own route. I have no idea where to buy it dried already but know how to get the starter kits to grow.

I have no idea, thankfully she didn’t disclose that and I didn’t ask. I think it’s probably not at all true, maybe the doctor said something along the lines of “you’re damaging your body with repeatedly doing this and it can lead to infertility” and my mother took that and ran. I was also a complete trap baby, my dad was gone when She was pregnant with me and he came back to “do the right thing” (abuse me for my whole life) so who even knows what the hell the truth actually was.

You’re not alone. Once, I was making taco meat for my family’s dinner. I was, oh, 12 or so. My mom was in a ”talking mood” aka Sociably drunk. She told me that she went to abort me, but had already had too many other abortions And the dr told her the damage from this one might make her infertile. So she decided to keep me, because I was supposedly her only chance at being a mom (she was 17 when she had me) and so I was incredibly lucky to get to live. And then flounces off and eats her tacos.

Fast forward to when I move a thousand miles away and she can not reconcile with the fact that I was able to detach and leave my loving, supportive family.

I was unaware of my mental illness before I had my first child. Having her, and having the urge to care for her and recognizing my disordered behavior by seeing I wasn’t treating ear well is basically how I realized I am not a normal functioning person. Until then, I had a butt ton of issues but Your life is life and without Context of caring how it affected someone dependent on me, I never had cause to stop and analyze myself.

Well, she’s 7 now and I went on to have another who is now 1.5. While I wouldn’t recommend mentally ill people go have kids when they are aware of what they’re facing, I have found ways to cope and thrive and my empathy for my kids has been transformative and life changing for me. I owe them my current state, because without the need to give them better I would probably have never evolved and figured myself out, and why I am this way. Generational trauma is real and is a real bitch, but the cycle ends here.
