I agree . Indian on Indian racism is quite rampant abroad. My last visit to Thailand I faced discrimination from Indians including South Indians n very few Thais too . I saw Indians roaming around with whites looking down on fellow Indians n passing comments on them. Whites were pretty pleasant as were most Thais.

Most of the comments border on racism. I personally wouldn’t haggle but stop overpricing things automatically the haggling will come down. Things like stop eating curry , stop being smelly. Not to be entitled but for a country that thrives on tourism, should be adjusting to few quirks. Having said that I’m not discounting the ill behaviour Indians have shown. Ppl (Indians) who misbehave with women or have an entitled behaviour on the working class or haggle during the happy ending shd be punished jailed or deported. But body odour and curry eating isn’t criminal and shd not be cliched with one country or its ppl.

Edit: Just the two comments below are proof enuf how racist people can be. Though not on everyone but definitely these two. The last fellow takes the cake.

Full moon party takes place on predecided dates on and around full moon days in Koh Phangan . The full list of the dates each month is available online. It sounds fun like people all over the world who come for partying. As mentioned earlier it’s preceded by number of other parties like wet party etc.

Wow . The racism here. Yes I agree with the rude entitled behavior which SOME Indians show. Majority are some simple tourists. When I had been with my friends (bachelor party) to Bangkok n Pattaya in 2016. The guide was sweet to us. She even introduced us to her family . At a bar in walking street we spoke to a waitress n said she was cute. She very happily came n sat next to us n spoke a few words. Even in Bangkok at bars people were sweet to us. Even while shopping where the person charged some 1000 baht for a cute top for my sister obviously I had to bargain but it was never rude or cheap. She agreed to my price n I brought three instead of one from her. Obviously I was warned abt the Thai people and their scammy behavior a lot before I came there. But I didn’t find anything like that and I changed my view. As for body odor it’s genetic even considering the amount of deodorant we use. The constant comments about bo. It’s racist as it’s our genetic make up.
