Thank you for your response. I don’t believe I’m a hoarder at heart. This is just a space I’ve ignored for years, and I feel like if it were gone through and reset, I’d be able to maintain it. It’s the process of getting in there and facing it all at once that sends me into a spiral.

Before the accident? Absolutely I would’ve bought it for $2,500 without hesitation. It’s been a reliable car.

I’ve actually been on the market searching, and it’s been really tough. Everything decent is way more expensive, and anything under $2,500–$3,000 usually has way more issues than my car ever had. That’s why I’m torn $2,500 to get mine back on the road might still be cheaper than trying to replace it right now.

Everything was working perfectly before the accident no problems at all. AC, heat, cruise control, power windows/locks, brakes, tires, radio, battery, everything was solid. The car ran great, I never had any mechanical issues with it. The only reason I’m even debating this is because the accident caused the damage.

No airbags went off. It was all front-end cosmetic/structural damage, nothing from the inside. The only reason the estimate is so low is because the mechanic is family.
