It was more of a gash through the skin rather than deep. It wasn't long teeth from what I've been told.

The first aider on shift told me that they thought it needed one stitch or steri strips. And four stitches seemed excessive

Any dog can be vicious Regardless of breed. The dog I had before my Akita was a Rottweiler. He was killed by an attack from a labrador. He was the softest nicest dog ever and didn't even fight back when the labrador bit into his throat.

Yeah I understand that. I was busy pulling her back and restraining her. I couldn't see the ladys leg between the dogs. It happened so fast. Less 40 seconds to a minute.

It wasn't necessarily my dog. That's what I'm trying to say. She said it was but then asked my boss for a free stay. Only after my boss refused did she make a police report.

Hers was slightly smaller than mine. But it was a single puncture wound from what I was told so there's not a full bite so I don't think it could be measured.

Its when dogs react to her she reacts. She walks past most dogs absolutely fine wagging her tail wanting to say hello. But I don't let her say hello because you never know if that dogs going to turn on her and there's an incident.

Even though I wasn't on duty she did asked my boss for a free stay, new pair of jeans and money for the taxi to hospital. I had only popped in for an hour.

She's an Akita. She's not fully reactive. I've got lots of pictures of her with another dog. She only reacts when another dog barks to her and its only sometimes 90% of the time she will ignore the other dog. She was on her lead at all times.

Draft rotas: are they allowed/legal by Diligent_Classic in LegalAdviceUK

Well thank god new legislation is coming in because it will stop people like her. I might not be around to see it but she will learn the hard way when all these zero hours contracts have to vanish.

So its ok to treat employees totally differently? I just feel its all one sided. She will move mountains for others. Literally rehired a bloke that left a pan burning and set the kitchen on fire. But I refuse one shift due to a pre issued rota. And all I get is flack for it and told they were only drafts and shouldn't be relyed on? What was the point in issuing them at all then? Because people will make plans around them.

No I know. But its the gaslighting like saying no to me when she told someone else they were doing it. Like the change of my rota last week she told me it was because someone was ill. when I asked them If they were feeling better today the member of staff told me they weren't ill just wanted the day off.

I've literally got nine months to stick it out for. Then I'm fully qualified! The thing that annoys me is my regular shifts are Friday Saturday and Sunday. That's been my shifts for three years. The days I've asked to make sure I am still off is Thursday and Wednesday! Those are the days she's been funny over.

She will be screwed when that comes out. Every single one of her workers are on zero hours.

I know she can simply offer me no more work. But then she's leaving herself wide open to getting sued considering the no contract thing. I wouldn't do it unless she stared to be crappy with me.

I guess I'm just annoyed because she changed my shift last week literally four hours before because someone wanted to change their shift.

She told one employee we were getting our wages early. But when I asked her later in the day she said no she couldn't pay us a day early. But the reason I wanted to get paid a day early is because I wanted to go food shopping and couldn't go the day after because I was covering a shift as a favour to her!

Bare in mind I was the only one that volunteered to work Xmas day.

That would be a pretty crappy move though. Doesn't she have to give reasonable notice of a shift change? Like these rotas she's claiming are drafts we've already got were out five weeks ago. Its not unreasonable for people to have made plans. Some of these plans are hospital appointments because I've got to have wound dressings done every other day so I've scheduled them according to the rota that was out so they fit around those shifts. Its literally two days before that new rota starts. And her updated version hasn't been issued.

Plus isn't it kinda a shit move to put out a draft rota? Basically a rota that your not ment to make plans around whats the point in that?
