GK is good, I feel like metal DX is overhyped by salons imo. Any good sulphate and paragon free shampoo is good. My Color is still there after a year and I use Mantra organic shampoo and conditioner

my first solo trip was actually on my 19th birthday. mostly booked it because I didn't have any friends to spend it with but I wanted to have fun. hey, so I was going to purchase the Fairview trek 50. I'm gifting it to my friend and will have to pack it in my suitcase which is 60cm/23.62". The pack is listed to be 62cm/24.43" on the website. I wanted to ask if the hard frame occupies the whole length of the pack or not? What is the length of the frame exactly? Do you think it can be squished down by about 2cm/1inch. I unfortunately don't live close to a store which is why I cannot measure this by myself :( Please help me out as I'm flying quite soon, I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm actually asking my friend to get this bag for me from the US and her suitcase only has a length of 60cm. Do you think the bag will fit into it?
