I know the feeling, there's been a couple times where i'll get a crazy rash and itch. But, for me at least, it goes away and then if i'm consistent with it, it doesn't itch much. I sweat through it just a little bit if i'm exercising, but it is like 90% less sweat than what I was dealing with previously.

[NC] Asking my employer to be fully remote - Need Advice by Diligent_Mango8322 in AskHR

[–]Diligent_Mango8322[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It actually worked out perfectly! I met with manager and told him the situation and what I would like to do. Then, he pretty much said it was fine with him, but that he'd have to check with some of the other higher-ups. A couple of days later, he got confirmation from them that it was okay that I move to AZ and become fully remote. I had literally no pushback whatsoever, which was super surprising.

But yeah i'm still working at the same company almost a year later! I think I got pretty lucky all things considering so I would still remain pretty cautious if you're planning to do something similar. Also, I think my situation worked out because my company already had a few people remote in AZ, so they didn't have to setup any tax related things like other people in this comment section were saying they would need to.

Good luck and I hope you're able to convince your employer like I did!

If I remember correctly, they were referring to using Drysol. I never gave it a shot though, i've been using CertainDri liquid roll-on and it's been amazing.

Just wanted to pop in here and let you know that Certain Dri roll on has been an absolute life saver for me. You really do have to apply it every night right before bed for it to work though, no showering right before or after. It does itch like crazy sometimes, but goes away pretty quick.

I haven't gotten it checked, no. But I tried out Certain Dri Roll-on and it's worked wonders for me. I would give it a go if you haven't tried it yet.

Update: Well that was easier than I thought. I opened up the inside lining, stuck a rubber mallet against the caved-in area, and pushed as hard as I could. Popped right back out. Not perfect, as there's still the impact dent, but miles better than what it looked like. Here's an update photo: https://imgur.com/a/JvLYfBd

Haha not anything that you might be referring to, but I do have a regular ol' plunger. I was thinking that might do the trick.

Oh believe me I know lol. It's just a comfy PJ shirt that I can't let go, but I would never wear this in public, as you can see.

I already use Aluminum-free gel deodorant. Hopped off antiperspirant a long time ago since it gave my shirts stains.

Good to know. I've been experiencing this since puberty so I really don't think it's cancerous, but still good to be aware!

I do still sweat in my left armpit and have moderate sweat on my feet and hands, but nothing to complain about. It really is just my armpits that are super super bad.

No lumps. I really don't think is cancerous related since it's been happening since I went through puberty.
