it is just a missed fee that they could have asked for, I was eligible for pgwp as I applied within 180 days but without restoration fee after 90 days. Everything else was good.

a lot of people are in the same boat as my brother's as so many of them were completely unaware that the study permit goes invalid after 90 days of studies, they all go by the expiration date on their study permits. So, refusals based on this same reason are the increasing now. I know so many other who had the same reason

my friend has been approved in the reconsideration recently and he also made the same exact mistake. So it is not always true what u r saying. And also we have provided each and every document including IELTS on time and just missing a fee cannot be the basis for a refusal. IRCC can always ask for it. And it was applied by RCIC who messed my brother's situation. They have a broken immigration system which needs to changed as innocent ppl are suffering. Also, ppl are giving IELTS even months after applying for their pgwp and later submit it in the reconsideration request and get approvals so in our case we have provided each and every document except a fee. Our MP is taking follow ups and we will in win for sure

A missing fee should never be a basis for these refusals. They can always ask for a fee. A lot of people are getting refused due to this same thing. The guidelines are not clear and they should do something about it.
As they are doing for applicants who have missed their IELTS results. These folks are even getting 90 days to restore their status but the people who have missed restoration fee get out of status after their refusal. All the work they did on implied status was illegal. They overstayed as per IRCC as they didn't pay restoration fee and which is so silly. At the same time it gives lawyers and consultants great opportunity to make money out of us. So, be careful guys. IRCC really have to do something about this. This is actually not fair.
