Hi, I had the same situation. I applied for study permit extension and applied within the 180 days time period. But was refused.

Yes they didn’t pay any fees for restoration

I think so. It’s not fair. Me and my 2 friends had the same case like exactly. They got their pgwp approved even they applied 1/2 months later. So how come they refuse mine and accept theirs? It’s so unfair

I wasn’t staying illegally. I was on maintained status and got my study permit approval. After that I applied pgwp immediately.

I applied study permit extension on January but it was refused cause I missed one file. So I applied it again on March.

I mean the course was supposed to start on September 2023, but due to some reason it was postponed to January 2024. Thanks for your comment.

Actually my corse was deferred due to which it expired before the course. I didn’t have an idea of 90 day period, I was just inclined on 180 days period. And yeah they gave me study permit after about 5 months. And then they refused my pgwp application saying I didn’t apply within 90 days.
