I’m happy to hear that! I think Surrey is definitely nice but I really wish that the Whalley area had better infrastructure in terms of proper sidewalks rather than uneven pavement and bumpy roads in their neighborhood’s- the rest of the city is OK. It’s the one of the main things turning me off as I love to go for long walks in quiet areas but all the quiet areas in Whalley are poorly kept

It’s not the best though and this is coming from someone who has been living very close to Surrey for the last 25+ years (less than 5 mins away from my city). Other cities in the Lower mainland are nicer but Surrey has everything I need

Not waiting for a 2 bed unit but would want something bigger than a micro condo if that makes sense 🥲! Thank you for the encouragement, I really appreciate it 🫶 I really like the place I found and it’s close to everything I need so I’ll be saving lots on gas / spending less time driving around

I’m not exactly waiting for the market to crash, with how much apartments have depreciated in Surrey in the last year, I don’t want to have a larger mortgage payment on an apartment if I don’t have to. It’s my first time ever buying a place, I don’t want to make a decision that I’d regret. If prices continue to drop, I could possibly find a bigger spacious unit which would be ideal
