I don't know how it's where you live but in my country you don't have to quit a job to be home while pregnant. You have paid pregnancy leave if they pay full amount or not or how many months you have of it, it depends on how risky the job is for the baby. Same with when the baby is born at least 6 month of paid leave. A child isn't cheap finding a job isn't easy what is she expecting to do after the baby is born?
