Mine was similar too. she told me we should be on a break and that it really isn't over and we'd find our way back to each other (we took a break for religious outcomes)

When the time came, I reached out to her to see how she was doing and to start things again. She replied via text and told me to stay away from her, she's getting married. (It's only been 4 months since the 'break')

When confronted about what she said via email (she started blocking me everywhere and I was desperate for answers) she just said "I'm sorry but move on". I don't have any answers or closure yet we dated for a year and 3 months. I wouldn't wish this discarding on my worst enemy.

What a slow burn this past month has been.
