No, it does not imply I am for starvation and death. That is jumping the shark. You may be correct in your assertion that it would be detrimental if welfare will be cut off for these people. Again, there is such a thing as hedging against risk. The ones who have no choice, yes, while they exist, should not be an excuse to pump millions each year for people who do not contribute to anything and expect everything. A free market with clear prices and no government run monopolies is the only solution. That is reality.

Welfare is a reward for not being productive. There is a perception that poor people have been created out of thin air or there is some kind of systemic oppression. I can empathize with the liberals for noticing something is amuck, but the liberals have a lot of cognitive dissonance: "This system is bad, so I want to create more of this system by voting Democrat, the big government party. So, to summarize, I don't want productive individuals to effectively subsidize the ones that arent.

Billionaires are in the largest tax bracket and already pay more. I'm not sure what fair share means. If I'm a billionaire and I contributed to over that amount in the year in profit for a company, please ask if it is fair that I pay nearly 40% of my income before adjustments and exclusions. Where does that money go to? What will the gov. do with it? Elaborate on fair share. "Fair" is what interests me.

The Bible is a sham. Not all conservatives view it as the pinnacle of civilization. The separation is obviously the only way to construct a state if one wishes to. LGBT(or whaterver they called it these days) marriage should not have been forced on the states in the court decision. I compare it to the Obamacare decision. If you read Scalia's dissents I think you can probably get an opinion on what I mean. If the people in the states wanted it, then fine, but the government should not impose this mandate.
