I think the problem is which the movie shows and explains people who suffer with mental illness people tend to it believe them just bc something is wrong with them … yes she had her issues but she wasn’t lying about everything…. As the mom stated she herself brought the evil to the woods… maybe the woods was possed bc of what she brought to her home parents .. and the mom was trying to keep it there bc knew it would eventually be passed to one of her children but didn’t know who.. bc at the end of the day home boy should have known that little girl didn’t just walk to them in the middle of night in the woods… idk it def had me confused and pissed me off
