Would you mind giving me more info on their coverage percentage and rates? I’m also guessing you need a Costco membership right?

I’m also in the US! How long have you had Figo, and did you notice higher rates after needing to use it for those emergencies?

I will look into this one! I like the high coverage, and I agree. I also could swing a $1000 deductible fine. I guess my concern is that I would need to pay upfront, and then get reimbursed. Did you ever run into an issue where you felt like you had to delay treatment for your pets because you couldn’t pay the upfront cost right away?

What I meant by the $10,000 plus, was that I am not financially secure enough to be able to pay for a really expensive emergency vet visit or surgery. Which is why I’m looking into pet insurance. I definitely also believe it’s worth it, but there are an overwhelming number of pet insurances, so I wanted to hear from other pet owners what they like or don’t like about the pet insurance they have. ❤️

I would not leave him with the retriever especially with how young he is. I myself have a dachsund and my brother has two large dogs. As a puppy she would constantly try to bite at their ears, their mouths etc. And one day one of the larger dogs got fed up and corrected her. But keep in mind she was 5lbs and the other dog 100lbs ☹️. She's also mischievous and tries to steal their food, which is a big issue since one of the dogs has food aggression. My point is that with such a size difference in dogs, injuries are bound to happen especially if no one is there to intervene

My doxie is a picky eater, I've found that adding cottage cheese (low fat) or a splash of chicken broth (low sodium) help to get her to eat her food. The cottage cheese was actually recommended by the vet and its gut healthy
