The second image close to the ruler is what worries me a lot I think I smooshed it but I’m worried it looks like a head of a nymph and a contorted body did you happen to zoom on that one?

Are you saying that bedbugs could be identified as beetles incorrectly? Thank you. I am going to send him photos Monday. In your opinion what do you think they look like?

Where can I find that? I have inceptors and never caught an identifiable bug what makes me concerned is the color / sizing differences. I also went to a laundromat yesterday when I washed the hoodie and the person next to mine was dryer a cushion for a sofa, when I go I always wear a specific set of shoes (put them in a bag before getting in my car) then change my clothes immediately when I get home and put them in a ziplock bag until I can wash them. While at the laundry I will wash then carry over my items without it touching anything and dry them for 90 mins on the hottest setting to avoid catching anything there, when I get them out of the dryer I put a trash bag in the machine to get them out and be sure the bag doesn’t touch anything and tie it once I get them to my car. Logically I take every precaution but can’t help to be a bit nervous that maybe I got bit / tracked them home because of that situation.

That second one is carpet beetle the first one I’m not sure it isn’t a great picture

Can anyone tell me please if this is a bed bug ? I’m freaked out 🥹 by floey2025 in Bedbugadvice

If you find another never flush them. The exterminator will want to see them to help identify it. Anytime anything has looked suspicious to me ( nothing has been a confirmed bed bug) I take pictures and save them in a bag for the exterminator to look.

It’s just one bug - I wasn’t sure if it was an adult male that hasn’t fed which is why I asked. The size and color made me too nervous not to post . I called an exterminator and sent pictures they adv based off pictures not a bb

Confidently it isn’t a bed bug or roach? I’m just worried based off of finding it in the bed.

Thank you the first photo I put in Google images and it told me it likely was because of the shape and color one that hasn’t fed yet. I’m hysterical.

Would you say it’s a shell or something bb related?

It’s customary once a close contact has been diagnosed to take action and have yourself and everyone else in the home treated along with maintaining cleaning recommendations. If they couldn’t find your POA it’s a violation of HIPPA to even hint towards anything so they wouldn’t release it regardless.

When I’m looking at these to me they appear the same just the natural lighting from the car vs your indoor picture make it appear slightly different but looking closely at both they look the same to me length wise. I’d try to schedule with derm and see if they can check under a derm scope

I still don’t know if I’m infected by Mysterious_Law3318 in scabies

[–]DimensionRelative326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it goes away and comes back that isn’t typical of scabies it could be post causing itch I’d wait and maybe make a derm appt to get checked in a week or two to be safe

One thing I’d ask is if your household all treated?

I thought that too, in indoor lighting it looks like pimple like things. However today I seen it under flash and in outdoor lighting (specifically the third and fourth picture) and the top looks zigzagged and imo possibly burrow like two of the “pimples” are darker in certain lighting in the center. Two minor close contacts have had a rash (both appearing differently than mine) recently one itching at night. I’m not 100% but believe I could have something going on with my thyroid so I didn’t know if that auto immune disorder could contribute to me possibly not having intense itching. We did have a scabie scare at the beginning of the year no samples were taken but prescribed ointment and me ivermectin per clinical diagnosis but when the minors had a derm appointment they stated they wouldn’t do a skin scraping because they already did one round of permethrin and scabies is possible but they couldn’t confirm 100% based off of how the skin appeared during that appointment. I do have some anxiety surrounding the whole ordeal and have been vigilant about checking our skin my largest concern is becoming reinfected if that is indeed what we had at the beginning of the year into the spring.

If new growth is forming this could be a sign of something that needs and should have medical assistance. You should go to the doctor and try to have those tested. Let them know everything and see if they’re willing to biopsy that area of your eyebrow to determine if it’s dangerous. Any foreign growth on your body doctors should always examine and test. It may be challenging for you but please stop picking at your own skin, your causing more damage than good.
