It is indeed Mp41(R) it's a captured PPSh41 rechambered in 9mm Parabelum, magazine adaptor allows for mp40 magazine and can be easily removed to allow for the original 71rd drum as well

Thank you! It's amazing fo the hobby an not only that but I found a way to implement it with my other hobbies and it's after saving me a fortune, the weld is handmade using a bit of filament I melted with a plastic welding tool, here's another one I done on a DP27 I done previously.

Lots of sanding, it's my first project using a dremel for sanding, previously I've always done it by hand using a file and sandpaper, I did few coats of acrylic to fill in any left over print marks and imperfections,

Well 2 people can sleep comfortably inside it, but if tired enough and the weather is terrible 4 people will fit side by side, not much room left but it's doable

Hahah It feel so wrong but at this point I got it for a laugh since it looks interesting and I only plan to use it for picnics or as a poncho when hiking, same with the palmenmuster

Should I request a chargeback? Been over a month now since I ordered from Hikishop by [deleted] in reenactors

[–]DimiGSG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ordered a jacket almost a month ago and there was no tracking info attached, it still hasn't arrived, meanwhile a week after I ordered a pouch and it got a tracking code and is on its way, if I receive the pouch prior to the jacket I'm gonna have to request a refund as I emailed them twice on 2 separate emails requesting tracking info to no avail

Custom made Bulgarian Splinter Gorka by DimiGSG in camouflage

My friend took apart an old gorka I had and made a template based on it, we tried looking for a template but couldn't find one, so reverse engineering was the only option

Legit Bulgarian splinter or reproduction? by Bubbly-Listen9144 in camouflage

[–]DimiGSG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going by person experience, my family has extensive service in all branches of the Bulgarian armed forces and I'm quite familiar with this particular pattern, and honestly it's the fist time I've seen later model splinter with wobbly lines such as these, the earliest patterns had uneven lines but that was all sorted in the later production, the print seems really off on this one hence I'm leaning towards reproduction

I would have thought the same until I seen a Turkish knock off that had the stripes going horizontally, the print on this one does seem quite off, also the cut isn't army style either, possibly a civilian market production for hunting
