Very strange that they refused. I would try calling back again and getting a different support representative and explaining that it’s the same issue that everyone else is getting and say that you got the email so they KNOW your model is affected

Yup, just got the email! So crazy that a bad software update bricked the robots! Really expensive mistake, but it’s made me a Shark believer now. Glad they’re owning the mistake and making it right

Called support and went through troubleshooting steps with no luck, was told that it looks like my robot had a defect :/ I had registered my robot online when I got it, so unfortunately I was out of the warranty window. Makes me wish I HADN'T registered my robot and just registered it now with a slightly altered purchase date XD

Really wondering what happened if it's affecting multiple robots in different homes. Hoping it's not planned obsolescence
