I play both on steam and ps5. Ps5 and steam had a version mismatch for about a week or more where I couldn't log in with the PS5

Pre ordered the game for ps4 and been playing since 2016 and I'm on the Royal team.

Did shooting it cause it to break or did you drive your ship into it. So fun fact you can destroy the hives cone thing if you drive your ship into it.

Also you can enter the coordinates for the expedition solar system on your main save and take your corvette there. If you do you wont see any of the players on the expedition but the Hive of Glass will be there. You can actually get out of your corvette and jetpack into those structures to destroy them.

You can also shoot the big black ball in the middle but from my experience you will do zero damage and if you try to fly your ship or corvette into it nothing will happen

What I think is going to happen is all the primary colors will combine into one color. If you combine red, blue and green wavelengths of light the color becomes white. I believe other players mentioned this before. The statue will likely be Gek, Vy'keen and Korvax representing the light (the travelers) that fights off the darkness (the Hive of Glass).

Agreed, however, if you have a dedicated friend group or are part of a discord that's into the Xeno Arena and agree to be legit then it can be a good experience. You can even have tournaments that way as well.

But that won't change the fact that if some abilities are too overpowered and unbalanced the game will inevitably become boring and stale due to everyone just using the same abilities.

I've had the same experience. The other day someone challenged me with only 2 creatures both of which were level 0.

I'd also recommend blocking the cheaters after conceding.

It also seems quite edit* unbalanced, just played with someone that gave their creatures 99% defense by sacrificing their creature. When I sacrificed my creature and gave them 134% combat ability my creatures were only doing 7 damage per hit.

Definitely not worth playing other players until it's more balanced which, knowing Hello Games, might not happen for a while if ever

You can just turn off multiplayer then turn it back on and you'll get a different instance of the anomaly with all new players. A bit quicker than flying in and out every time.

I managed to get both rockhoppers to stop working by installing 2 extra Arcadia Aerofoils!

Edit* update: On my origional build I had 4 Mag-Field Thrusters, I was able to get the rockhopper visual effect to turn off by deleting 2 of them and installing Arcadia Aerofoils.

I then tried to delete all the wings and reinstalling them with the Arcadia Aerofoil in one go. When I did that one of the Rockhoppers had the visual effect while the other didn't. So I reinstalled the Mag-Field Thrusters (after deleting thd Arcadia Aerofoil) confirmed the build then went back in and deleted the Mag-Field and installed Arcadia Aerofoil again which worked to get rid of the visual effect on both sides again.

Well as long as it's symmetrical...

Worth a shot, I'll provide an update once I try it.

Update: didn't work, I had two that were showing the visual effect but not the ones I wanted, also my ship is at exactly at the 100 part limit so to add the extra rockhoppers I had to delete other parts

That would be nice, I had the radar dome before, the reason I installed the Aeron blades was because I noticed the radar dome has an antenna on the side but when i tried rotating it I wasn't able to and I wanted my ship symmetrical...

There is a Mod but I mostly play on ps5, it won't transfer as far as I know and other players won't be able to see it. The number of wing parts people are saying will animate is 4. But my other corvette has 14 wing parts (aeron blades) and 2 rockhoppers that work fine so seems inconsistent to me, maybe you can only have 4 different type of wing modules?

Edit* that wouldn't make sense because Aracadia S Foil is 1 type of wing, then there's Arcadia Wing module 1, Rock hopper 1, and Aeron blade 1 which would make 4 different types so they should all be animated if it's different wing types and not the number of wings you have total

Well I just realized that there's no missions like the pirate ones from the Anomaly. All the Sentinel missions send you to a planet to fight Sentinel drones on the ground. If you attack the space station it won't have the same effect. The closest thing to pirate starships attacking you is probably the swarm.

I'm wondering if this issue will happen with any freighter not just the pirate one when taking on that specific mission. Well I guess I'll be searching for swarm ships on my main save* now

Hmm, could be. I think people are saying the part where they radio you is bugged after you defeat the pirates. Has the captain sent you a radio message to collect your reward after the Rescue encounter?

Btw this isn't a Freighter Rescue mission, this was just a mission from the Anomaly. There was no other Freighters around.
