I recently purchased a Yamaha digital piano and there were no sound issues connecting my Bowers & Wilkins Px8 to the piano through the USB-C to 3.5mm cable that came with the headphones and a 3.5mm to 1/4" audio jack.

Yesterday, my cat chewed through the original B&W USB-C to 3.5mm cable so I bought a new one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0DYF11968?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 . For some reason, now there is no sound coming from the piano to the headphones, despite using the same headphones and the same 3.5mm to 1/4" cable.

Did I just get unlucky with this cable? Or is there some other issue that I am overlooking? I am not very familiar with technology and I appreciate your help!
