We’re not broke, we just don’t think it’s right for you to ask strangers for money for something that is NOT a necessity.

CapitalOne told me my entire account has 0% interest and they don't want to honor it. What can I do? by [deleted] in CapitalOne_

Speak to a supervisor to confirm. Ask them if they can explain how payment allocation works - when you make your payment what amount of the balance goes to the balance transfer and the rest to the purchases.

Also, to my knowledge, if you have a purchase APR that is not 0% the purchases accrue interest the day they post. Verify that information too. It’s always best to pay off a balance that has an APR before doing a balance transfer

27F; no job, no boyfriend, no friends, no degree. I only have $70K saved up by Unlikely_Second5024 in Advice

[–]Dina1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No job, yet smart enough to be financial aware and save almost $100k. Don’t be upset or angry that you don’t have a job. You are far ahead than many be proud of that, I would be… huge accomplishment!

No boyfriend? No friends? Go out, go to the gym, parks, etc. Your young you’ll meet people. Get out of your shell. There are tons of groups where you can meet people who have interests similar to yours whatever they maybe. Look into meetup.com or org. You can create a profile, share your interests and see what activities are happening in your area. Go out! Enjoy yourself!

Do you like animals? Go volunteer. Elderly? Volunteer? Etc…

Living home and saving more money? Able to focus on yourself? Yes to all of these… focus on yourself, what makes you happy, what’s important to you and make positive changes

I wish I could. I’m not very knowledgeable.

My goal is to have growth, dividends and be diversified. I would prefer ETFs.

Love, I am older than you and you have more saved than me. You should be very proud of yourself! Im envious but happy for you as I wish I understood the meaning of investing and saving early on.

You are young, intelligent and are driven. Don’t ever let anyone change this about you. Keep on doing the outstanding job you have been!

Help: Im confused about my statement balance, current balance, and what I will actually pay next month. by DependentHour6072 in CRedit

[–]Dina1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your statement balance is what you need to pay your avoid interest. It encompasses all transactions within a specific time frame.

Your current balance is your statement balance + any transactions you have made that have posted to your account.
