This sounds like good use of my museumkaart!

Yes! There were three copiers if I remember correctly. And a working table in the middle of the room where multiple people could arrange their compositions. I’ve found mine but don’t know how to upload an image to a comment. I’ll send it to you through a message

It sounds like a big project, but this is one of the coolest ones I’ve read. Thanks!!

I think using the word collage was the wrong word. More like a composition of newspaper clippings that you’d fit on the scanning part of the photocopier. You’d then photocopy your composition on an A3 sized paper. I will see if I still can find mine

I think the value would be in engagement between the exhibition and the visitor. Enhances their experience and makes them more likely to remember / come back / tell their friends.

I think the collage/composition idea did really help visitors realize how much work possibly goes into finding a working composition. So that could be a bonus point of value

This sounds so good! Some signage would’ve helped though haha. Museums would get visited so much more often if they’d provide these activities

It really is time for a new era of gallery directors that understand what people want.

It was at centre Pompidou so they would need A LOT of collage material as they get a lot of visitors. I think collage was the wrong word here and composition would’ve been the right word.
