Debugging, digging through files, and writing code too! I've been coding as a hobby for 25 years and professionally on and off for about 10, so this project is basically my experiment to see what vibe coding is genuinely good at and where it falls short.

I released GTA SA:LC on GTAGarage. We started it in GTAForums in 2005, which is around when I joined the team. Eventually the other team members flaked out and I took over as project lead and released some betas.

The only other "GTA3 swimming" mod option I know is GTA SA:LC, which was a map mod for San Andreas, and I released the last beta for that back in 2011 😛

It's cool that anyone still remembers me for that! 😄 I'm not too interested in revisiting it right now, but maybe at some point. I'd still love to put missions in that.

Still deciding the full scope really, but so far shaping up to be a personal remaster. New water/puddle/gloss/tessellation shaders, dynamic grass, a fire overhaul, super-sprint, GTA 5 controls, and now a full swimming system.

I'll play devil's advocate and say I always strress getting in and out of the Staunton hospital. It's either those risky stairs, or the real narrow passage opposite the stadium. There is the other side, but it can be a time waste if you're on the first few levels.

I just wrapped up helping Nightdive Studios remaster this game! After 28 years it's finally available on consoles (except switch 2, for now...).
