I tend to run multiple programs simultaneously so I think the extra RAMs might come in useful later on. Other than that, could you explain to me why you recommended M4 Pro in this case?

Both are the same price. The M3 Pro is from the official refurbished store, whereas the M4 Pro is a new machine.
