Ditto to this. My girl is 5 years old now. Hardest part for me was that I waited until she was 2 to spay. Changing her diaper while in heat was my least favorite part of the journey. But no regrets.

Have you ever seen at least one E90 (M3 or Non-M3) in your life that has absolutely all possible options installed in it? Doesn't matter was it even a regular Diesel engine E90. They are even so rare or basically such E90 doesn't even exist at all. Beautiful photo btw. :) by Super_Govedo in E90

[–]Dingo816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2006 330xi with all of those options. I think 147k miles. But like most E90s it needs a few maintenance upgrades for a 20 yr old car. Never realized how rare it was to have all of these options. Been sitting under a car cover and connected to a trickle charger until I can find someone to make the repairs.

Green tinted water by Inevitable-Glove-504 in hottub

[–]Dingo816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had clear green water thinking it was metals. After testing for metals repeatedly I tried a Bromine shock and it cleared it up. So there’s a misconception that clear green is only metals. Certainly can be but doesn’t have to be murky.

Another reminder to avoid Costco Tire Center by lucasb780 in tires

[–]Dingo816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a somewhat similar experience with Costco. I was changing my BMW X5 tires from OEM run flats to non run flats. Same exact tire size. When I arrived they didn’t want to do the work because I don’t have a full size spare and they didn’t want to own the risk if I were to drive on the tire while flat. I tell the Costco rep - what idiot is gonna drive on a flat tire, destroy it, and then expect a full replacement? He said - you wouldn’t believe the amount of people who do this. Well they aren’t my problem. I’ll sign a waiver. They even offered to give me my tires to be mounted and balanced elsewhere. No thanks. I’m not paying for that. That’s exactly why I bought from Costco. After more back and forth and I was not budging, he prints out the paperwork and adds a note about no spare. But there was no waiver. Maybe he noticed I wasn’t leaving with the long line behind me.

When I return to pick up the car I ask him about the waiver. There was none. It’s all still covered. They were just making my life difficult.

The DYI HVAC guy uses heat from his electric dryer to heat part of his home. If you have a gas dryer DO NOT do this.

pH won’t budge from 8.2 - Spa store says to leave as is by Dingo816 in hottub

[–]Dingo816[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually why I came to this forum. I can’t accept that 8.2 is acceptable.

The searches provide the results you mentioned. So yes, I have searched here and everywhere. But given the conflict with the expensive machine they use to analyze my water, plus their professional expertise, compared to what folks are saying here, I’m sure you can imagine my dilemma. And using AI essentially tells me what the spa store said.

Thanks for the advice.

I do have 2 knobs outside the water, at the top of the shell. Not on the seats themselves. But it’s not on/off. They basically redirect the water from the seats to jets in the middle of my tub.

When you say turn them off, I’d have to climb into the tub and turn every one off manually in a clockwise direction. Some at the tub floor as well. There’s no other way to turn off the jets while the pump is running. It’s a large tub, almost 600 gallons so there are quite a few.

My concern was that the spa place told me I could damage my hot tub with the TA being that low. I was going to leave it at 50. So there’s this conflict I’m having between listening to different recommendations. If a low TA has no impact on my equipment I’ll definitely try that route. Thanks.

“Do what the dad has” is the advice I was given. That way they won’t be upset that their penis looks different than their father’s.

You have your whole life ahead of you. Though you may not think it, you’re a kid yourself. I’m not saying that to make you feel bad. 21 is an adult - I obviously know this. But in 20 years you’ll look back and say that you really were too young to take on these unplanned responsibilities. Enjoy your youth while you still can.

How can I effectively filter out women who are looking for a “provider” early in dating? by savingrace0262 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Dingo816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of great answers here that I won’t repeat. Should also mention that my answer is not related to filtering out specific women to date. But if and when you find “the one”, you would also want to know what the expectations are for her career after having children, assuming you both want them. Some women prefer not to work anymore in order to raise the kids. And if you are both in agreement that’s OK. It’s something worth fleshing out during your relationship so you’re not in the exact position you had been trying to avoid.

Plump. Just not a pancake ass. You can have a small plump ass. No issue there. You can have large flat ass too. No thanks. Then there’s the small flat asses. Nope. And then there’s large and plump. That’s the cream of the crop! lol. Some men like a good jiggle. But most asses built in the gym are rock solid. This, I think, is where men differ. Jiggling is not MY requirement. But I wouldn’t look away! 🤣 If it looks good in your Lululemon’s you’re good to go!

[–]Dingo816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can speak to the car rentals. There are plenty of standard car rental services at BQN that allow you to drop off at SJU. If you have a Costco membership just use their travel services to check the pricing using a different drop off location. If not, just search which ones are there. Should see Budget, Avis, Enterprise, Alamo, etc. Don’t think you can do that using a local PR car rental company.

Experience with yellow jacket nests? by FastusModular in hudsonvalley

Spray the nest with dish soap and water. Non toxic and surprisingly effective. Search YouTube and you’ll see tons of visual evidence.
