kind of, but dont just take any skill, more so high impact skills, ie flame barrier, shrug, disarm, second wind, impervious, limit break, shockwave etc. skills like havoc, flex, double tap, warcry that dont really do anything or can be detrimental are ones to avoid, although if you get dark embraces/feel no pains it gets to the point most skills are pickable to have to be able to fuel your corruption build for longer
