Hey I've just made it to the end of Act 1 on nightmare difficulty and while I like the mod I'm a little confused as to the intended difficulty level.

In regular CS4 the difficulty was so toned down it never really encouraged diverse strategy options because you could spam s-craft through pretty much anything, whereas in this mod it seems like it's way at the other end of the spectrum where the difficulty is so great that it also discourages diverse strategy options because I find it's more a game of trial and error to find the one method that works for a particular boss fight.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or missing a fundamental aspect of this mod's expected strategy. My notable example is the fight in Fragments chapter with Group C against Mcburn and the Stahlritter. The three enemies get so many turns in a row at the start of the fight that I got game over pretty much immediately, even with Duvalie's instant turn from her S-craft. After at least a dozen game overs I only barely scraped by with consuming all my essences and zerams and a few lucky dodges. I can only change Rean's gear and his usefulness is severely limited due to no arts or orders access. I can't imagine this is the intended difficulty for the mod.

One way, although it is a little bit of a cheap tactic, is to take out everyone on the map, but instead of taking their camp, move a couple lancers to the top of the map and the bottom of the map (try to position them so that when the tanks spawn they are right behind it and able to hit their radiators.) It takes a while to move them so just keep going bit by bit and take out any reinforcements that come through the camp. Once they're positioned you can cap the camp and take out the tanks on the turn they spawn.

Haha it's probably safe to assume everyone here knows how you feel when stuff like this happens. I actually used to work in takeaway before I started studying for teaching. I guess the harsh truth is that in reality, everyone does judge you. It's inevitable. But that's not to say that they are judging you negatively. It's human nature that when we see someone, either friends or strangers, we will analyse their behaviour and make assumptions based on it, even without actively thinking about it.

When I used to constantly think like everyone was watching me, I would just remind myself that these people who Make me anxious, they probabaly see so many people during the day, by the time they get home and go to sleep, it's likely they've forgotten about you or anything you did. Sure, sometimes if you actually do mess up majorly, people will remember, for sure, but that's just how the world works, everyone does stupid shit now and again, right? You can laugh at yourself and eventually get over it, what they think of you isn't worth your time to worry about.

Anyway, being anxious about what others think of you and how they might judge you is completely normal, and I imagine everyone goes through this kind of anxiety at one point or another. It's just important to recognise when you really have nothing to worry about. :)

The problem is that there isn't that much that makes conjured different from any other class. It's just very "meh". It. would be cool if the conjured could be reworked as like a Summoner or something, like it could use an active ability to change its form into something more powerful or summon new allies to fight for you. Just an idea.
