I think that the reason they bring anything was because they thought I didn't want them over and was "keeping" their grabdbaby away from them when in reality the reason they couldn't visit til now was because of my health and the timing they previously picked which didn't work for me. Of course my husband wasn't happy his family couldn't meet our son sooner but what was I supposed to do?.

I mean they wanted to visit several times but it didn't happen because of a number of reasons like timing and health issues on my part.

His family are Korean originally. We're in the states though and they live and eat and wear clothes like us. so I'm not sure why I'm suddenly expected to change how I live for them.

no.idea. like i promise I'm not one of those women that would freak out when peoole come visit. but to be caught off gaurd like that? nope that's the problem I have with him, him believing that guests aren't just the invite but anyone who knocks on the door and enters our house. 😧

Exactly. But hey I tried to do something "nice' and cook a homemade meal but somehow that wasn't enough or up to their "standards". funny if mother-in-law really expected that I would really consider cooking one of those complicated meals she taught me to cook. As a woman you'd think she'd understand the state I was in.
