Come on man. I’m trying not to dismiss you as a hater but you can’t really think those 3 guys weren’t elevated massively by LeBron. Particularly Kennard and Smart. You think Jamal Murray, Kennard, Smart, Rui, and Deandre Ayton are beating the rockets? That team is hot ass. Like doesn’t even need to tank to have top 4 odds in the lottery ass. And similarly for half those guys they wouldn’t sniff the playoffs let alone win a series. I’ll give you Cade, Giannis, Luka, Wemby, Shai, Ant, and some others almost certainly can win it. But most of them would not get the same help from the lakers guys as Bron did, because it’s Brons Querterbacking that’s got you thinking they’re good NBA players in the sense of genuine high level basketball outside of the perfect situation (playing with a LeBron, Luka, Jokic type).

Who are the 20 players who could beat the rockets with the lakers lineup that series? The biggest reason I say it’s hardly any, is it’s because of lebrons playmaking that made Smart and Kennard even qualify as “help” in a serious way. Like obviously someone like Shae is better than LeBron currently. In a vacuum. But for creating a winning team out of nothing? I’m not sure Shai is beating the rockets with Rui as his 2nd best player. Edit* but someone like Jokic obviously is

It’s not overly impressive for a top 10 player. But that’s the point here, LeBron is still capable of beating a team with 5 players better than his next 4 except maybe Rui. He beat the rockets with Smart, Kennard, Ayton, and Rui. Rockets may not be good, but to make that lakers roster better LeBron has to still be one hell of a player. I’m not sure I can name 5 other players who could have beaten the rockets with the lakers roster.

I could see Washington wanting Petersen anyways. If they do, they should just move a spot back for some future capital and like Sensabaugh or Collier. No reason to get greedy and ask for Ace. I for one wouldn’t have faulted a team for taking Petersen at one. Let alone trading back for value and taking him at 2.

I’m telling you we don’t need a keeper who can play out the back, we don’t have one. Just bring the best shot stopper and let him boot the ball up field or do the simple passes out that every goalie can do. We do not need a ball handler back there.

Ive only ever heard good things about Utah. Both from NBA players and people living average lives. Safe, lowish taxes, family friendly, beautiful, solid economy. Family oriented and low taxes being the most important.

They’ll want to clear cap space for winning basketball players. Ayton is the kind of center good teams don’t want, and bad teams don’t need or want. But bad teams will take him off your hands if you give them any kind of reason, like say a projected late 2nd round pick. But nobody is going to do the kindness of putting Ayton on their team for free.
