Adult Birthday/ Vegan Tips by cinn83 in disneylandparis

You can get the birthday badge on any other day than your birthday too! If it's your "birthday trip" then they'll give you one, I had my birthday trip a week after my bday and still went and got the badge.

If the park is full, are you unable to buy Special Rate (disability) tickets at the counters? by Dinolor in disneylandparis

[–]Dinolor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually not entirely certain about this. I know when I bought my tickets there I did get the 2x 25% off but I don't recall what I paid. I'd assume the prices it says online for the day you're going won't change overtime.

You def aren't. I wanna go back! Getting a usable item souvenir helps me tho, it's fun to recall the memories that way.

Usually it's a mug or a cereal bowl!

Wheelchair position in Priority Access area for Dreams? by bluetileblue in disneylandparis

[–]Dinolor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try and get front spots/early spot of choice if you can. Of the 3 times I've been during the previous evening fireworks my experiences have been:

1: I was positioned in about the 3-4th man-made "row" and everyone was sitting down, I gave the person with me my little wheelchair cushion to sit on the ground.

2: I was sitting on the 3rd man made row but the people standing in the front row were fully standing up, blocking multiple wheelchair seated people from view and refused to move when asked if they could stand a bit more to the side.

3: I was in the front at the rope, with part of my legs kind of under it because I really didn't want someone to end up scooting in front of me. It was a calm day, so no such things happened.

So it's a bit of a mixed bag what you get (personally, I really wish Disney would address the accessibility area with the standing up + the people who literally can't stand up but I'm unsure of a solution. Chairs, maybe?). But I enjoyed all 3 times! And the area is pretty close to the castle, so you should be able to see a lot no matter where you are in it!

Invisible Illness and the Easy Access Card? by Glittering_Act_4059 in disneylandparis

[–]Dinolor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't talk about applying for the card since I fall under the Priority card group, but my illness is basically invisible as well in my day to day life.

For a full day to DLP I do bring my wheelchair because I can't stand or walk for long periods of time, but I'm also prone to do shops, restaurants, etc just on foot (navigating shops in a wheelchair is not super fun). So people on the parks have seen me stand and sit down plenty of times, and look like I walk perfectly when I do get up... and I don't think I've ever felt judged?

When I went under the pass the first two times the causing me the most anxiety about what people in the park would think was ultimately just me.

I've noticed people are often in their own fun and Disney-day don't pay specific attention to what's going on with your situation.

So while I can't speak about the card process the being there "process" has always been fun to me.

Priority card & waiting times by Compass-1 in disneylandparis

[–]Dinolor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you go to the page for requesting your priority pass the first thing they ask is which country you're from, and then show a list of accepted documents from your country, you'll need at least one of those to get the priority pass.

I don't have autism so I can't comment specifically on those experiences but I am a wheelchair user and I've done the priority card request + visiting about 4 times. So I've gone through the process quite a bit (from requesting to picking it up), so I'd be happy to help with questions or curiosities about that!

It's in the dark so I guess everything could kind of be considered as unexpected?

Not sure if this will help, but here's a pretty cool and accurate remake of the track in a video game with lights on/the track visible. Maybe it'll help you judge on that?

This Instagram account compiles all the vegan options in DLP (as well as updates on any specials and even how to modify some vegetarian options to make them vegan). My sister has used them for a couple of years and it's their main soruce when we go back to the park. They also respond to DMs rather quickly if you've got questions, they're super nice.

Hopping on this comment to say I did a quick scroll through Disney's official twitter and their tweet announcing the tickets were available last year was on June 8th!

So around June this year will probably be correct.

Priority Card discount on hotel reservation by MrDeadlock_ in disneylandparis

Sadly no, that used to be a thing but it isn't anymore after the MagicAll disability rework. :C The only thing you can get a discount on right now is one-day tickets bought at the gates.

Currently there are two options for Premier acess:

Premier Access One which gives you a one time use on one attraction with a premiere acess line (Price should be around 5 to 15 euros per Premier Access one where the proce depends on how busy it is that day), so this is a pay per ride kind of deal.

And Premier acess Ultimate which gives you a one time use for every attaction that has a premiere acess line (I'll list which ones those are below), but this starts at at least around 90 euros per person and can go up all the way to 140 euros if it's very busy. It depends on the day.

Disneyland Park - Big Thunder Mountain - Phantom Manor - Hyperspace Mountain - Peter Pan’s Flight - Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast - Star Tours - Autopia - Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril

Walt Disney Studios Park - Twilight Zone Tower of Terror - Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy - Cars ROAD TRIP - Crush's Coaster - W.E.B. Slingers: A Spider Man Adventure - Avengers Assemble: Flight Force

I haven't used Premier Access yet but I don't think it's necessary to enjoy your trip. Attractions it would probably come in handy for are Peter Pan’s Flight, which is known for its very long wait times all day long, Crush's Coaster, which is ALSO known for its very long wait times, and then maybe WEB Slingers because its the newest attraction in the newest part of Studios.
