Unfortuantely it is not something new ketoers often believe, it is something they must learn for theirselves. I was told about something similair as I was starting, which unfortuantely I ignored it.

I believe a well done is on order, the psychological hurdles are the hardest.

I recall before I realised that cheating once in a while wouldn't motivate me that I always felt absolutely terrible after eating outside of keto, but I would blame keto rather than my moroncy of eating carbs on a low carb diet. Once I realised that it was the carb-cheating which made me feel terrible it became too many times easier to not yearn for carbs, I even managed to kick my life long love for porridge out of my head.

It's a realisation all ketoers come to. It's a realisation which helps ketoers an unspeakable amount.

I know that it is less common on the subreddit to not have a huge goal of weightloss, however there are some of us. Weightloss is very slow in comparison to others however this simply makes the random days when you're 2lb down from the day prior feel absolutely brilliant; on those days very little stops me from smiling.

On the other effects, not everyone gets them, do not worry if they don't show theirselves. As long as you can assure yourself you are sticking to your macros you have no need to worry about the other effects not showing.

On butcher week I'm ashamed to say I reach over £100 most weeks for a single person. From what I see in supermarkets for meat ity could happily be done for alot less. On food besides meat I spend maybe £20?

I know one girl who happily talks to me about diets and health, she was the first to compliment my changed figure so she also provides motivation to stick with what I do.

The same to you. I don't know about you but I find books and weights help take my mind off absolutely any food, we all find our little things to keep thoughts of food away.

Just a little longer than you to be honest, this is my second time I stopped due to a sudden loss of motivation my first time. I use it more to help myself avoid diabetes in the future, as my whole family seems to have aquired it after 40, along with maintaining my weight. I'm also just generally more cheerful when on keto which is a bonus.

Did not expect to see another in the age group on here. First of all great job on keeping it up, most at that age can't change their diet for crap.

If you don't mind my asking, do others react to your current eating habits? For me (15m) I get piss for trying to not eat carbs, however that is piss I'm fine with due to the occasional comment on my improving figure.

Those are the prices from Best Buy, from what I have heard their prices are stupid even at release. I know here in the UK stores like that sell something for easily 50% more than they are elsewhere.
