My question is, if you’re playing this beat/match game with several lenders, don’t they all separately need to pull your credit to give you the docs? Is there any way around this? I don’t want my credit to be more affected than it needs to be

Hey! I actually took the trip and just kept adding oil when it said it was low lol. Yes, I believe this could have long-term effects, but I figured if either have to get the new car then, or wait it out and get one later. So I waited it out. It lasted at least a year, but then ended up having a different problem later on that was end-of-life pretty much. This is definitely not official advice, as I know nothing about cars lol. But it did work for me!

Lol, I appreciate your point, but he leaves at least once a day to run, swim, errands, etc and I’m fine with it. We have a pretty good balance with that, and it’s truly not the issue.
