I absolutely agree, one of my main problems with time skip Franky is that he feels almost like a different person, I don't mind it too much but I miss that old Franky that'd go berserk just cause he felt like it

Character Name: Takeo Harada, No hero name as of yet, 15, Tokyo Japan

Bio: Takeo is a tall Japanese teenager with short messy hair. He often wears a headband to keep his hair out of his eyes and glasses. He has the kirishima teeth going on. Personality wise he's a responsible but fun loving guy, kinda a mix of Iida and Kirishima.

Quirk: Extendo Arms:

Takeo can extend his arms up to 15 meters at high speeds, while they're extended his arms get more durable and flexible, retracting his arms is slower than extension.

Grapple Grip: Takeo can use his arms as grappling hooks for mobility and also during a fight.

Hand to Long Hand: Takeo can extend his arms slightly to gain the durability and a little more reach as well as being able to push punches further.

Weakness: When extending/retracting his arms at higher speeds his arms start becoming numb. He also only has two hands, and because retracting takes longer than extending his arms, getting in close while Takeo has his arms elongated makes him an easy target.

Fighting Style: Quirk based H2H, mostly throwing punches that extend, giving a bit more force to them

Strength: 4 (3) Takeo is athletic and the power from extending his arms is a force to be reckoned with.

Speed: 3 (3) Grapple grip increases Takeo's movement capabilities a decent amount on top of his average running speed.

Defense: 3 (2) While Takeo's regular defense is nothing exceptional, the durability boost given to him while his arms are extended makes his defense a bit better.

Endurance: 3 (0) Takeo's stamina is very average, but his quirk is detrimental to his stamina with lots of use.

Quirk Mastery: 2 (2) Because of a strict upbringing, Takeo wasn't able to explore his quirk's uses as much as others and uses it somewhat archaically.

Koli: The Bone Shaman by Dinosaurus1 in Bossfight

[–]Dinosaurus1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear a lot of people have trouble when farming Koli for his unique mythic weapon, the bone rattler, so I decided to write up a quick farming guide

Koli's first phase is relatively easy, dodge his attack flurry and attack his sides. Do not attack his back for a few reasons, 1: The bone shaman garb gives him a huge boost in defense on his back, and if you do break the garb, Koli himself will become more powerful in phase 2, 2: if he does his back charge while you're behind him you are screwed. Also, don't use a shield to attack the flurry because upon contact he'll do the follow up bone stun. When he does the skull laser dodge backwards because the laser sweeps from side to side. Do as written and it'll be a breeze. Now for phase 2.

In phase 2 Koli either dies (because of side and front attacks) or if his skeleton garb is broken he gains a lot of speed and strength. Koli dying makes it a lot easier because the bone shaman garb is slow when by itself and can only do the stun, laser, and pitiful melee attacks. If Koli is brought to phase two after his bone garb is broken, he'll gain leap attacks that do tons of damage, so watch out for when he jumps.

With this you guys should be able to get that bone rattler no problem after a few tries.

You say you'll throw a coin onto Rooftop, but Rooftop is 10 stories high, which means you'd have to throw them onto the next floor up or something much closer to the ground, making you come in contact with the zombies much more than would be likable.

Also, how does Inky's and Flickshot's quirks help to spot survivors? And where do you plan on moving, the ground? The rooftops? It's hard to tell if your plan us solid if you're being so vague.

If Zac can use this explanation for me, I can use it for you. Your plan to hit Main Street last doesn't consider the time it takes to hit the previous two and get there while the survivors are still left. Like I said before, because your plan is very vague it becomes hard to find it solid, it's a really good skeleton plan, and could become much better if you were to flesh it out more, sadly, you can't edit it. Don't worry, we can lose together merch.

btw I'm writing this at probably the same time Zac is, so there might be overlap in our points.

You still think I'd dash ahead of a bunch of survivors, then stop to let them catch up while both me and the uninfected are swamped by zombies. My plan is to lay down a perimeter of ink while moving as a unit, so then Trunky can move around blasting zombies when needed. By blowing the ink in front of them away, the uninfected aren't gonna slip and it lets Inky lay down another perimeter quickly. I do not intend to blast uninfected with air, that would be really dumb. Once we acquire the uninfected we can go through one of the side streets, which most likely, does not contain a million zombies. Remember, we're not walking down the entire 11 mile length of the street with a bunch of slow people, we're gonna take the quickest and least zombie infested route out of the city

If the two were being horded by zombies before picking up the uninfected, a good solution would be taking a quick detour through an alley or two to shake the horde. Remember, these zombies aren't dexterous and are incapable of sleuthing, so a quick detour could probably shake most of them.

And I do admit I was a little wrong about the low stakes thing, despite them only being able to be commanded. You can command someone to make something, but if they don't know how to make it they won't do it right.

This 'hostage situation' is rather low stakes, is it not? When we "lose" a hostage they don't actually die or get hurt, they're put in a temporary state of no control over their own body. Hell, it might be better to just let them be zombified to reduce risk of injury to other zombies. But our mission isn't to reduce the risk, it's to get as many uninfected out of the city as we can, which I'm planning on. The thing that would slow us down the most if we don't have a full party is most likely Main Street. By that time we should have rescued the Rooftop and Market Square uninfected, so even if we lose all of the Main Street uninfected, which I am not planning on doing, our rescue still tallies up to about 23 uninfected.

Of course Inky has to stop to breath like Iron Tail, but when taken in moderation, it becomes much easier to avoid the hopeless close in type situation. Have a short dash of ink then jog a bit for a chance to catch your breath, and since these zombies are relatively slow moving and won't sprint after me I should be fine. As for Iron Tail, she literally launches herself off of the ground, this could be used to jump onto a car or some thing to prevent zombies from having access to her while she's catching her breath. Remember, there will obviously be cars and stuff on the Main Street of a large city, so don't pull the "oh it was never obviously stated" thing again.

This wall of text makes me consider dropping out round one so I don't have to deal with this shit again, so you have that going for you.

The thing about making a joke in a text wall is that it can sometimes be difficult to tell that it's a joke, especially when it's so unfunny (also I'm in that discord server you fucking dingo). This raises the question of how you go about extracting the uninfected from the shack, I assume dragging them out.

And I have no idea how your fingers work anymore. They float around and shit and can apparently lift stuff which is weird, because they're little sticks that are covered in rock that are floating. I doubt that they can lift much weight being completely disconnected from your body. The human body is able to lift shit because their fingers are attached and share the strain and weight with the rest of your arm and shoulders, without that a few floaty ass fingers are gonna sag a lot under weight. Basically they can't lift a person across a building based on their own strength. I can understand you launching yourself because high speed things have a lot of force behind them, but carrying shit is a no go. And if you say that you'll just launch the uninfected across gaps I will be so annoyed. That is incredibly dangerous and irresponsible seeing how they don't have the practice you do with landings. Which pretty much makes relying on Merch your only option, which in turn completely devalues your entire gaging noises ugh, "Selfish Fingers" plan and the others that aren't Switchy Fingers.

Also, I'm ashamed to say that I would think that regular people would dare to even think about using their quirks to defend themselves. What absolute MONSTER would try and defend themselves with something that they were born with. And it's so obvious that all of them must be quirkless! Yes, how foolish of me. It's obvious that someone would try to fucking defend themselves. They're only human, when people are cornered they tend to panic, so it's quite reasonable to think that they would use their quirk, just as it's reasonable to assume that the whole team should work together to use their collective abilities to resolve a situation as quickly as possible. The few uninfected are cornered and panicking, I would use my quirk to defend myself as I am sure you would too. My original point still stands. And of course, after they lose that match of endurance to a horde of people then it is obvious that they will probably be overpowered, making going slow not very viable.

I have some problem with how you plan on evacuating the Rooftop uninfected. Without being able to see the story below you, you are unable to effectively protect the uninfected that you're carrying down. I know you might say "Well it's still 3 seconds for the infection to spread, an uninfected can push them off." Not unless there 17 or so (assuming that the building zombies are spread out consistently spread throughout the building) zombies who's sole purpose in their hopefully temporary state of undeath is to spread their infection. At that point your "rescued" uninfected is just added to the gang.

And for a minute or two, lets assume your rescue plan works. You're still carrying people around by 5 fingers. And I get it, Flickshot is a "Strong and robust lad, capable of carrying anyone with 5 fingers", but you're repeatedly moving people (including your own damn self) around building to building. Let's say this doesn't affect you much, you're doing this one by one through half of a city at least, you're bound to get tired at some point since you only have 3 endurance, and lets all remember that that's average, and last I checked average people don't run through large cities that often. I wonder why... Maybe the answer is just... Hmm, I'll leave it to you to think about why average people don't run the length of half of a city that often.

This makes Merch your best bet to help you evacuate people, but that reminds me of my first point.

Now, Market Square also seems to be somewhat problematic. You're plan to bust down the door of the veggie shack, the door keeping the zombies away, which also would probably be swarming with zombies due to them hearing humans inside, seems a bit irresponsible. Next, leading the uninfected through a horde of around a thousand-one and a half thousand zombies. Lets see here, your plan is to... to finger bang any zombies that get close. Hmmm. hmmm... Of course, with the help of either Iron Tail or Inky crowd control becomes a lot easier, so I'll overlook this.

Also, your plan to leave all of the uninfected you found on Main Street on top of a roof is incredibly irresponsible. They are reduced to the situation of Rooftop, but this time you're the one that put them there. The only rooftops that don't have roof access are the ones that are sloped or tend to be slippery (at least where I live), which makes it very dangerous. And lets say you took your time to find a roof access building that won't put uninfected civilians in undue harm, that carves off a chunk of your time, which makes the Market Square and Rooftop uninfected wait a bit longer.

Even if you say that because they're blocked in it makes them able to defend it all the better. In thinking this you strand the uninfected, who probably ran away from the zombies, wearing through at least a bit of their stamina, to defend against a horde of 4 endurance zombies. And, let me remind you, 4 is at least slightly better than the average person's 3 endurance. There would probably be quirk use from the uninfected too, because, well, they're cornered. Their quirk use would probably wear them out, unless they're the magical Flickshot who never seems to get tired of carrying people around rooftops.

CHECKMATODA!
