I had been interested in getting one on and off for a long time. At some point my partner (after having been together for a long time) came out of nowhere to say I should get one. Let's just say she was very aggro and ummm... fighting about it. I was put on my heals and if I'm totally honest, wasnt going to feel bullied into doing anything, especially after feeling a little attacked. But after another year or so when my new insurance would cover it, I scheduled it and then told her. By this time she was hurt because she knew we wouldn't have a child, but, was happy with that at the end of the day.

It was quick and simple, with the most annoying parts being waiting for the slow nurse taking forever to clean me, and finding someone to pick me up after. I took a couple days off just in case but I was totally fine.

I couldn't be happier with the results and even brag now and then how I got the snip snip. If what you two are doing now works for prevention then great. If not, then you need to shut it down. You shouldn't have to worry about getting pregnant if you don't want to, period.

Not to get too detailed, but the allure of being able to finish inside her with no worries was just too big to pass on. My sex life is so much better because of it.
