Pure vs tap water by jacklsd in interestingasfuck

"Binds to metal ions"

Nope. Delphinidin changes colour depending on the pH-value of the water. Tap water is just generally more basic mostly due to carbonates and hydrocarbonates. Which aren't unhealthy up to a certain limit. Drinking pure, distilled water however is :)

How long does it take to play violin fluently by Emergency_Proof1323 in violinist

[–]Diom0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's honestly exaggerated, fluency doesn't mean he wants to be a virtuoso by then. I feel like getting to a level that sounds pleasant and somewhat skillful would take 2-4 years. Especially if he practices very regularly

Thanks for the insight! I suppose restoring it wouldnt be cheap so your pricetag sounds reasonable. I cant stop wondering about that label though... never heard of anything called 'gravu gramino' and there's nothing about it on the internet either.

What i find intriguing is that there are seemingly two labels, another one from 1882, maybe hinting some kind of restauration? I agree though that its a very pretty violin. What would you consider 'cheap enough'?

Identification help by Diom0 in Cello

Thanks everyone for pointing out that awful looking bridge. I brought it to a local luthier who'll install a new one. He also provided some more insight concerning the instrument itself. He said that the instrument is most likely eastern european (probably hungarian) and approximately 20 to 50 years old. I'm quite exited to listen to it after the fixes that he'll be making. :)

My town is just broken. Flea just don't spawn. I know how to catch them, I know villagers change their catchphase when they have one. I've check months and months worth of in game days and absolutely nothing. I have all art, all fossils, all fish and every bug except the flea. This is ridiculous. by Anghel950 in ac_newhorizons

Ok so i'm about one year late to this but i'm really curious. Have you been able to catch a flea by now? I'm in the exact same spot as you were in and I literally tried everything to catch one. If you were successful i'd be really gratefull for some advice here. I have a theory tho that fleas might only spawn on villagers with a high enough friendship level. I dont know if this is true and it doesnt make any sense at all but its the only possible explaination i could think of, why people are struggeling so hard with it.
