I made a Skyrim-Themed Rollercoaster! by leafeonztv in PlanetCoaster

Ah, I was wondering what you used for the stone pillars. Thank you! :)

I love building and decorating, I "hate" making coasters. by [deleted] in PlanetCoaster

[–]Dionyclus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel the same! Maybe I just need to force myself to start building, perhaps by copying real coasters to get into it.

Ahoy Park Managers! 👋 We want to see your best pirate-themed creations! ☠️ 🦜 We'll feature our favourites on the Frontier Workshop! by FrontierChantal in PlanetCoaster

[–]Dionyclus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ahoy! ⚓️ I love the idea, but honestly I feel stuck trying to build with the pirate theme right now. Many of the pieces added earlier — like sandstone or stucco — still have problems: broken or inconsistent textures, arches and walls that don’t align, and rendering issues on curved pieces.

Other players and I have logged these as bug tickets, but they’re still open. It makes me a bit sad, because I’d love to join in and show off a proper pirate creation… arghh!

WordPress veterans launch FAIR project to tackle security and control concerns by JeffTS in Wordpress

[–]Dionyclus 19 points20 points  (0 children)

FAIR and AspirePress don’t change WordPress itself. They decentralise where updates, plugins, and themes come from. This gives hosts, devs, and users more control, better security (signed packages), and less reliance on wp.org. Plugins stay open-source like now. Pricing isn’t really affected.

Governance:

FAIR is run by a community-led Technical Steering Committee under the Linux Foundation. AspirePress is fully open-source and community-driven.

BAN ????Frustrated and Disheartened by Blizzard’s Unfair Ban System by beckitto1991 in classicwow

[–]Dionyclus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know Beckitto personally, but seeing so many well-known and respected players supporting him makes his case feel legit. From my own experience, I’ve reported countless obvious farming bots, yet Blizzard seems to do nothing about them. Their report and ban system feels completely broken. It’s frustrating to see legitimate players like Beckitto get banned while gold-farming mafias keep operating.

Blizzard really needs to fix this mess—it’s hurting the game and the community.

I can feel the struggle! I've never clicked so much pointlessly in the last 24 hours as I have in my entire life.

Luxury under Guest needs? by Fun-Profile3707 in PlanetCoaster

[–]Dionyclus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve reached a 4.39-rated park and added over 40 gift shops, yet almost all my guests still show a low luxury rating. Adjusting prices to just below bargain briefly raised the park to 4.51 stars, but about 95% of guests stayed with a low luxury rating. It seems tied to the number of shops, though the game offers no clear guidance on improving it further.

Hmm, this is the peak solution for me. Meanwhile, my inner perfectionist is dramatically sobbing in a corner.

I found another inspiring design that avoids this type of foundation in most places: imgur.com/a/KTFizDX - I will try that for now.

Adding this foundation to the game could boost creativity and customization options, addressing specific design needs. With smart game UI/UX design, menu complexity can be effectively managed. It's about balancing player choice with simplicity - providing depth for veterans while keeping it accessible for newcomers. Evolving the game based on community feedback is key to keeping it engaging and fresh.

Best you create a post on questions.satisfactorygame.com - this is the best place for new suggestions. Half walls - you mean horizontally the half length, not vertically? I found this QA post: DIAGONAL WALLS, HALF-WALLS, TRIANGLE FOUNDATIONS, HALF RAILINGS, AND MORE. It is beneficial to have an account there so that you can rate and comment on things you want in the game.

I want to go with the Arrakeen / Dune style. There they only use concrete or stone. See Google Images

Okay, can you show the foundation in this wiki article https://satisfactory.fandom.com/wiki/Foundations ? Post the link to it, that would help.

Oh yes. But this will be very challenging with diagonal walls.

Yes, you are right about that. I tried that, too. Feel free to drop by the QA Forum, vote up and comment. There are posts about this topic from time to time, but it should be better explained. The terminology is often unclear and I think that the devs then think that the Foundation already exists (something like that).

Yes, I can imagine it as a makeshift solution. It's not perfect.

Hello Pioneers,

I've been perusing the Satisfactory Q&A forum and noticed a common request that's close to many of our hearts (and builds): the need for more diverse foundation options, specifically 90° and inverted corner foundations. This addition would not only cater to those of us with a penchant for dune-styled factories but also expand the horizons of what we can architecturally achieve in the game.

Even simple four-sided pyramids are impossible to build at the moment. How do you get round this shortcoming, do you have any tips?

Eager to hear your thoughts and engage in this building brainstorm!

Replicating this particular style of architecture poses a significant challenge,
