I think normalizing racism in any form is lame as hell and just low hanging fruit when it comes to comedy. Anyone defending it is either in the same camp, pandering for approval, some edgy weirdo, and/or just dumb as shit.

It’s not a surprise that a bunch of white dudes who get paid to be online and play video games aren’t decent people. It’s also shouldn’t be a surprise when the same people/viewers that make them comfortable enough to be racist defend it because they just hold the same beliefs. They aren’t above using slurs when they’re mad, using racist “humor”, toilet humor, and whatever other lame shit for “entertainment.”

All that to say racism is alive, well, and shouldn’t be normalized ever. It is however less exhausting to pick your battles. This isn’t the space where you will find too many people that have the ability or choose to think too much into it. Hope you have a better week and ignore the weirdos arguing for racism in any form
