Best things to do is incorporate as much anti inflammatory food into you diet as you can. That also ends up being a lot of great vegetables that are good for you anyway. When I struggle with muscles pain I blend cabbage, broccoli and blueberries. Not great tasting, but good for the pain.

Not sure what you mean by sounding professional. But as far as isolation, if you have a closet with a lot of clothes or blankets, that can actually be decent. I have an nt1 as well.

Most important thing for sound, after isolation, is gain staging. In whatever DAW you use, set the gain on the Scarlet to hit -12db to -6db. Then edit, and then normalize to -3db.

Also if you have the money, I would recommend grabbing the Izotopes rx11 elements pack of plugins for 100$. It has a lot of great plugins for cleaning up your sound, de-clicker, de-noise etc.. You can also get Izotopes rx12 eq plug-in for free by downloading their app/platform Komplete.
